A TRIBE CALLED WHITE.

Today was amazingly rainy and stormy outside by I still wanted to show y’all my outfit before I went out. Therefore forgive the indoor bathroom selfies, but my outfit was worth it. This skirt is another one of my mom’s pieces and while she would probably wear it with a blouse, I wore some Black Milk underneath. My only problem is that it tucks in creating some odd folds. However, I’m a girl who’s not afraid of her curves so bring on the maxi pencil skirts!

TARTAN PUNK.

When I first started out Amberlee Tea, I did a series entitled “Raid Your Mom’s Closet” and today I ‘m doing it again! This skirt comes straight from my mother’s work wardrobe. While she would pair it with a blouse and flat heels, I wanted to make it more punk. Therefore I added my Pulp Sesame swim and some red lips.

MY SISTER’S DRESS.

I will personally tell you that I have been waiting for the day when I wanted to borrow something from my baby sister’s wardrobe. Today was that day. She bought this beautiful dress awhile ago and today I got my hands on it. I also wanted to show y’all the new addition to my house…our pool! It’s a beautiful place to take photos and we’ve been swimming every night so far.
Plus, I got new shoes yesterday from Karmaloop. They went on sale for $60 and who can resist JC Raids for $60?

I know summer's almost here but I'm still freezing and dreaming about a fall palette. Black and burgundy are definitely becoming my favorite colors for winter/fall and I've been looking at basic pieces with a flair to accompany my unique wardrobe. STEEL TOES AND TAHOE.

I’m finally home and it feels so good. I spent a wonderful weekend with Lianne and Sharon then flew home yesterday. We went out to dinner last night and I’ve been relaxing thus far. Waking up with Tahoe has basically reversed my sleep schedule from 4am-11am to 11pm-6am. However, I love having my little shadow back following me around. Tahoe is just the cutest!

MY SKINCARE ROUTINE.

My daily skin care routine is extremely important to me and that’s why I wanted to share it with you. In High School, I had terrible acne and had to use every cream/medication possible to get rid of it. The majority of it has cleared up with time, but I still really take pride in taking care of it.

Therefore I’d love to share my favorite products with you!

This face mask is the most amazing thing I will ever put on my face. I use this typically as an intensive mask because it hardens and tights my skin. My skin feels so soft afterwards and using this around twice a week really controls my breakouts.


These are my daily face washes and I like to alternate them just to tackle different problems with my skin. The St. Ives one is exfoliating and feels really nice. It clears all my blackheads and the apricot smell isn’t bad either! Then the Neutrogena grapefruit one always wakes me up with its fresh citrus scent. It’s the one I take with me on trips and if nothing else, I always use this one. It’s a nice daily one because it clears breakouts without being too harsh to your skin.

REPURPOSING JEWELRY.

Today I wanted to take a break from regular blogging and show y’all how I wear my jewelry from day to day.
You can use a bracelet as a necklace and anklet plus you can wear earrings on your clothes and shoes!

CASUAL CATSUIT.

I don’t normally share my plain day-to-day outfits but I really loved this one. I had to run some errands and bike all over Houston today so my sneaky catsuit made an appearance. The catsuit also helps with layering as I can layer onto or over it as much as I’d like without compromising how much I’m showing or how cold I am. Also, my hair was having it today! It looked so pretty and I wish I had had somewhere to show it off (;

Side note: These shoes make me want to dance. Thus the failed Michael Jackson-esque moves above…
